What a lovely community! We enjoyed everything about the visit.
We had the most pleasant stay at Pleasant Hill! The historical tour was wonderful, the selection of items in the gift shops was great and the food in the restaurant was superb. We had three meals there. In addition, EVERYONE who worked at the Shaker Village was very kind.
My friend and I were fortunate enough to have been able to visit and also stay and dine at Shakers Village. The staff are amazingly kind and efficient regarding the staff in the dining room. We could not have asked for better servers. Great Visit!

Every time I come to Shaker Village my blood pressure lowers and I can relax. The food is fantastic and the ambiance is southern hospitality at it's best. Their personnel are beautifully trained and incredibly friendly. We love it here!
Room was clean and had adequate space for two people. Check in staff were helpful and the Trustee's Table had excellent breakfast and dinner food choices. The beds in the rooms were very comfortable.
As wonderful as I’ve remembered from 40 years ago.
Enjoyed staying once. This is a destination property vs quick hotel stay.
