Whenever I visit family in the area, I ALWAYS book at Springhill Suites in Columbia. Customer service is ALWAYS great and the breakfast bar never disappoints. On this particular visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Ahmed Mohamed. When I walked up to the counter to check in, he was in the middle of handling a rather rude customer on the phone; however, he smiled, held his finger up and silently promised to be with me as soon as possible. His professionalism and patience in handling that difficult call was commendable and a testament to why I always choose this hotel. Every afternoon when I returned to the hotel, I reminded him that I had his back should he receive any repercussions from his call and he would just smile and reassure me that it was "all part of the job". Springhill Suites Give this man a raise! He was outstanding, kind, enthusiastic and clearly loves what he does and the people he serves. Ahmed was always that last smile I saw before heading to my room after a long day. Thanks, Ahmed! And. I still have your back!
