Sandcastle Resort on the Beach
The cool thing about Sandcastle Resort on the Beach is its prime location right on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, offering easy access to the beach and nearby attractions.
We would have selected Excellent except our room was not on the ocean side. It was the first time of not having a ocean side room since we stay there twice a year and for several years. Everything else was very good. Breakfast crew was friendly and very accommodating. It was good to see some familiar faces.
We stayed at Sandcastle two years ago and loved it. Our room looked straight out onto the ocean. we could see the pier also. It had a garage and small patio which we used. Of course we got there day before the storms hit. But Enjoyed ourselves.

We offer a continental breakfast between the hours of 7AM to 10AM. For continental breakfast, we currently offer: Assorted cereals, breakfast breads (i.e. mini muffins, pre-sliced bagels), waffles, yogurt, nuts & grain bar, seasonal fresh fruit, toast with butter, cream cheese and jams, fruit juice, regular or decaf coffee, tea, and milk.
Self Parking is complimentary. Our max height for vehicles is 6’ 2” any oversized vehicle may park at our off site overflow lot. One parking pass per registered room only.

employees were good and cordial. need some type of meat at breakfast. rooms fairly small. good water pressure. parking was good.
The customer service I must say was Excellent,the rooms were clean and neat. The breakfast. Wasn't five star by any means, but I can't answer 25.. But once again with their custhe reserve is and how nice everyone was.Brings it up to a 5.5.In my book i'm watching the again.
Great place to stay! Close to fishing pier and also convenient to the store with bike rentals, etc.
