Excellent hotel to stay during Newport Folk Fest. Less than a 1/2 mile from the main street, the hotel is an old school classic, clean, comfortable, the bed was fantastic and the staff extremely helpful.
The eggs Benedict was excellent. Coffee was European strength (not necessarily bad). The “Destination Fee” is a highly irritating and disincentive to return since, as I understand it, it pays for services I did not want or use. Therefore, I was paying for someone else’s acccss. I used the valet at $45 per day because I did not have the option to park it myself. I was very nice and convenient to have the coffee cafe right there close to the lobby and we appreciated the cold water at the front even though there were no cups on one occasion. Over all, a very pleasant and enjoyable visit. Thank you.😊.
Stay was pleasent rooms are middle of the road I expected a bit more for the price but if was fine.
