"Very nice and friendly."

Very nice and friendly.

"Perfect location"

My husband and I visited Philadelphia recently, with a focus on history. The Morris House met all our needs. Within walking distance of most of the historical sites. Also located next to beautiful Washington Square. The hotel itself felt like we were back in the 1700's. Very comfortable and gracious. The staff was friendly and informative. A special shout out to Jerry, Jim, Linda and Eric. We felt very much at home during our five night stay.

"Charming Smaller Hotel"

The Morris House was a charming place to stay. Staff was welcoming, cookie and tea at night and simple breakfast in morning was perfect. I wondered outside on patio to have my coffee and breakfast. Rooms clean and lovely. Hight recommend.

This was really a pretty hotel with lots of history! The location was good for us, as we had an appointment right across the street from the hotel. However, our room was very small with a lot of heavy furniture in it, so there was very little room to move around.
