I called the hotel directly and made a reservation. I mentioned twice that I was bringing my dog. When I arrived yesterday at about three PM the guy at the front desk greeted me with disdain. Dogs are not allowed he said and he was nasty and mean. He told me to call the number I had previously called to make the reservation. I left the hotel, went to my car and made the call. I spoke to a man who knew all about my encounter. Why did I have to call him, since he was present at the hotel already? We spoke and he was just as nasty as the first guy. I asked for a refund, which he clearly did not want to give. He insinuated that this mix up was entirely my problem. I called Super 8 and the lady gave me a great runaround until I informed her that I would call my bank, report the fraud and have my payment to Super 8 canceled.
