The Inn at Vanesie was everything we were looking for. Quaint w/ all the modern amenities! The included breakfasts were incredible. Fernando at the Front Desk was especially attentive to our needs and requests. We'll definitely come back !
I really enjoyed the ambience of this hotel. It was very clean and the architecture was local and intriguing. The breakfast buffet was delightful and hearty. The staff were very kind. It was easy to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go.
Very cute, old inn near the center of town. Booked the stay for two days, decided to stay three and original booking could not be extended so we had TWO bookings. When they reached out to confirm and invited questions by e mail, I asked them to consolidate. No response. I went over early that day, explained the situation and asked them to consolidate the bookings. Was told this was done. Out of an abundance of caution, checked with the front desk on the morning between bookings and assured me it was taken care of, maids would not remove belongings. Everyone was nice about it, but nothing was fixed at 10 that night when we came back after dinner, the room codes had been changed and we were locked out. Desk service closes at 8 pm. They did send someone out to help eventually, but it was an unpleasant experience at the end of a day. ALSO. there is a $32/day "resort fee" on top of all booking charges lurking in the fine print. This is not a "resort" no pool, no gym and although they have fireplaces they do not even supply wood or matches. All you get for $32 is a hotel breakfast; tough luck if you had other breakfast plans, you pay it anyway. Having said all of that, the room was clean and comfortable, location is superb and the place has charm. A bit overpriced for the mid winter season, tho. ..
