As always, we again enjoyed a refreshing and peaceful stay at the Alpine Rivers Inn. Although it is just on the edge of busy Leavenworth, it feels well away from town. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast quite satisfying and the neighborhood very quiet. But most of all, from the balcony a visitor can merge with the Wenatchee River. Numerous pine trees, offer shade and privacy from the road. A woody area across the road features more Lodgepole Pines and balsam root blooms in late April.
