Convenient place to stop on your Interstate 95 journey. It is clean and well kept. The architecture is beautiful. Breakfast offered many options for everyone! We had plenty to eat! The staff was warm and welcoming. There was a restaurant next door we would have loved to try—just arrived too late in the evening. Very convenient to bring belongings to the room as you can park door side. This exit has everything you need from gas to Waffle House to CVS! If you have time—stop by to visit Santee State Park. This family owned hotel is a wonderful place with that warm Southern Hospitality. The owner is on premises. This isn’t a new corporate run—cookie cutter hotel. This a this is a one of kind special place you don’t want miss out on staying at least once in your travels. For us, this will be a regular stop on our excursions to and from Florida. They were also welcoming of our service dog.
The reservation agent at your central location was outstanding. Easy to understand, quick and efficient. The hotel desk person was terrific and very helpful. The accommodations were great.

We've been stopping at this Best Western Plus for many years. It is very pet friendly with outside entrance to great pet area. Rooms are also in good shape.
We always stay at this Best Western, never disappointed.
As snowbirds, we make the trip up and down I95 twice a year. We stop in Santee because it is the halfway point for us and have stopped at this Best Western 2x a year since 2020. Sadly, we will not be returning. We were charged the top rate for a room that hadn’t been renovated in 20 years. Dirty carpet, dead bugs in the windowsill, chipping paint and tile. The bathroom light rattled so much that we couldn’t use it at night for fear of waking up our neighbors. We have been BW loyalty members for years. The front desk clerk couldn’t verify our number in the system and failed to apply any applicable discounts or points. Needless to say BW has b lost a loyal customer.
2nd time we have stayed here and will do so again.
We have stayed here in Santee for over 10 years now going and coming to and from Florida for our March breaks. Love it when we can get adjoining rooms and the newly renovated rooms are lovely. Love our stays here.
We stop here every year coming and going to Florida. We look forward to a newly renovated,clean and spacious room. Some of our stays our rooms have had a newly renovated bathroom. Not this time ! I’m sure it will be soon. We will be returning next year and the next and the years to come.
