Hotel Frederick

We went for one night to see our friend playing music in the Brick Room, a cool basement bar in the hotel. Staff was very welcoming down to the hotel cat, a calico that hangs out in the lobby most of the time. They even opened up the lobby bar at 7:00 AM so we could watch the USA v CA hockey game live. The rooms are all unique w circa 1905 decor, preserving the history of the building, while still having nice amenities like the nice rain shower in our room. Dinner at their restaurant was also very good with an interesting menu and attentive staff. The hotel is situated on the Missouri River and KATY trail as well. Overall a fun and unique experience. We hope to return soon.

I chose to stay at the Hotel Frederick because I was biking the Katy Trail for the first time and wanted to get a full experience. Hotel Frederick was worth the expense and definitely delivered on adding to the experience of riding the Katy Trail. The history and upkeep of the historic building was great. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and professional. The Fred, the hotel's restaurant, served delicious food as well.
Hotel Frederick was a fun alternative to the national hotel chains. It is full of historic photographs of the hotel and Boonville area. Each room is unique and the hotel restaurant is excellent. We recommend the pork chops! Delicious!

The Frederick was my favorite hotel stay during my bicycle across the Katy Trail. The owner, Holly and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were cozy and mine had a jacuzzi bath which felt great after a long day biking. The hotel resteraunt called the Fred was delicious! I will stay there again!
Room was great. The bar and restaurant were good. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. We wished our stay could have been longer.
Our room was perfect! The food at “The Fred” was some of the best I have ever eaten and the craft cocktails were NOT your run of the mill craft cocktails. They were also DELICIOUS! It is so nice to stay in a REAL hotel instead of the “chains.” Waitstaff was friendly and took the time to talk to us! A lovely stay.
