To start off the actual room I got was pretty modern and updated (double queen room) so that part wasn’t bad at all. The pool was extremely deceiving and very small. The breakfast was a complete joke, from eggs, my dog wouldn’t even eat, to paper thin “bacon” and orange juice that it tasted like water with food coloring. I wanna make it clear. I didn’t actually eat the food due to the fact that there were so many people there that were just cutting in front of everybody with no supervision of children at all. In a way my stay wasn’t pleasant because of the amount of children running through the hallways, being extremely loud and rude overall, walking in and out of the pool with no supervision and I blame that on humanity and the parents. I brought kids myself, that were annoyed themselves, but again they don’t behave like that. To top it off when you’re booking your stay it seems like you’re gonna get a good $98 rate until all the fees and taxes come out to almost $200 and that was booking through their actual website. I came down for a work hockey game and some of my coworkers stayed as well and booked through other places and they paid more than half of what I paid, but I guess that’s on me for not trusting those other sites. It was really the only option of a hotel for me with everything else being booked out. Most of these things I could get past because the room was pretty decent, but when you go to a hotel, you’re hoping to kinda get away from home and get a little more sleep and when all you hear, is kids running through the hallway all night screaming and knocking on your door it’s hard to get a good night sleep.
