I recently stayed at the Delafield Hotel and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. First off, there was no way to plug in a phone cord—no accessible USB outlets! It's 2025 and this is a basic requirement for any modern hotel. The staff didn’t help improve the experience either. They were distant and didn’t seem particularly welcoming or friendly. It felt like we were just another number rather than valued guests. Additionally, the hotel was selling its own swag in a manner that felt almost embarrassing. It wasn’t a classy, curated display but rather seemed like an attempt to unload random hotel branded merchandise. Not something I’d expect to see in a place trying to present itself as upscale. Overall, the hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The rooms feel outdated and the experience was far from the comfort and quality I had hoped for. Definitely not worth the cost and I would not recommend staying here.
