Unable to stay. I had requested a handicap accessible room, however the elevator wasn’t working, they did call another hotel on canal park and find us a room. I was stilled billed at both places waiting for the refund to my card to appear.
We made this reservation weeks ago and should have been notified of the condition. We are both in our 80's and the elevator didn't work, the rooms on both sides of us were being repaired so they were drilling and pounding and the halls were filled with furniture and mattress's. Not exactly the relaxing vacation that we planned. We have no complaints about the staff. We have stayed here before but unfortunately we won't be back.
When I booked, I was told the price was up as there was a two day conference in town, so price was $259.09. Got to the room. Nothing spectacular. Bathroom fan wasn't working. Bathroom sink faucet was loose and could not get hot water unless you were holding the faucet the whole time to the left. Shower adjuster not functioning. Very hard to get the shower head to adjust to a taller height. The receptionist was polite.
A positive experience in all ways. Comfortable room. Access to Lake Walk. Excellent breakfast.
