The cool thing about Clearwater Lakeshore Motel is that it is located on the waterfront, offering stunning views of Lake Huron.
It's a great location with friendly staff and free shuttles to the Mackinac Island ferry. We spent two nights at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub after a long day exploring. Both nights ended with smores by the lakeside fire pits. It was a great experience and will stay there again if we get a chance.
Room was quiet. The views of the bridge and the lake were excellent. Good breakfast and comfortable beds.

We have stayed at this location multiple times! Rooms are clean and spacious with a lakeside view of the island and Mackinaw Bridge from room balcony. Staff is very friendly and check in process is very easy. We also love the location of this property, within walking distance to downtown Mackinaw City and the boat docks for Mackinac Island. Can't forget the evening firepits with provided s'mores goody bags. A great place for family or a romantic getaway!

We booked this hotel blind and was unsure of what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised, by its cleanliness and very friendly staff. The rooms are not fancy, but for beachfront it was perfect. They also offer smore kits at 7:30pm when they light all the fire pits on the beach. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit.
