21c Museum Hotel Durham
This hotel features a full-service spa, a 24-hour fitness center, and a restaurant with a bar/lounge.
We stayed three nights. Room very comfortable, staff goes out of their way to make everything as you wish. We were in town for a family wedding and this hotel does not have a "lobby" to meet up and sit and chat. We ended up using the restaurant for breakfast and gathered there. The restaurant area was having HVAC problems so only served breakfast during this time as it was too warm to serve lunch or dinner. Breakfast was fine, staff very helpful. We found food off site for lunch or dinner. The hotel itself is a museum which was interesting. It is a former bank building.
Enjoyed our first stay. Will plan to return when Back in Durham.

We stayed at the 21c Museum hotel in Durham for one night for a wedding and were very impressed. Front desk clerks were very welcoming, hotel was so fun with the artwork and visited the vault. The room was spacious, very clean and bathroom was amazing.. so much room compared to other hotels. Great location walked to a nice bakery in the morning for pastry and coffee. Would stay there again!
