The room was missing a TV remote, hairdryer, alarm clock, someone else’s food was in the fridge and there were dirty towels on the floor in bathroom. In the morning I needed to shower and go to work only to find that the shower didn’t work. I also had trouble reserving the room, I called the hotel and requested a government rate and tax exemption. I was told to bring the tax exempt form and I’d get a refund. I’m a new government employee so I’m new to reserving rooms like this. But when I arrived I was told I booked through a third party and they don’t offer refunds.
