We celebrated our honeymoon at the CVI when it was very new 40 years ago. So even though we have been back several times we wanted to be back at CVI for our 40th anniversary. We throughly enjoyed our two days at CVI. Katie’s food always good. We had surf and turf at CV steakhouse. Yummy! Every staff we dealt with was amazing. From check in, Morio was the best Bell service, the servers at Katie’s, to the cooks and servers at the steakhouse all amazing. Housekeeping staff do a great job, plus always smiling and say hello when we went by them. No matter where we went your employees had smiles and willing to help. The lady who runs the coffee shop so great. Check out was a breeze and we were lucky enough to get Morio as our bell person again. Whole time was just amazing. Hope to return next year…Hope gas prices drop!

Each year we have had An excellent time at c.v.i. the food is great and the staff thru out are very hardworking ,friendly and courteous. Have and will return god willing.
We love this hotel. The rooms are roomy clean and comfy. The amenities are fabulous and Katie’s is the best. We will definitely be staying here again.

I reserved a Deluxe room with a king bed. Upon check in I was given a mediocre room with two queen beds. The young man who checked me in said that was what popped up. It's not what I paid for. We ate in the restaurant as the steak house was closed and the meatloaf was a solid hard block of pressed meat, I requested no veggies except the mashed potatoes and there were veggies on the plate. It was all covered in a gravy that had been under a heat lamp long enough to harden it. The potatoes were edible but nothing else was. The server took my meal off the bill as I couldn't eat it.
