We wanted to stay outside the city and still be able to visit the intended tourist sites. This hotel provided comfortable accommodations with little fanfare. We appreciated the night desk clerk's pleasant no nonsense check in, answering all the questions we didn't know to ask. The breakfast buffet was simple and nourished us for busy day trips in Boston and western Mass. Thanks for a clean, pleasant, quiet experience.
So .. just average I’d say. The bed was hard, there was chipped paint in the ceiling, the sink was rusted on the edges, the water in the faucet would barely come out. The website says breakfast lunch and dinner but there is no food between 11am and 5pm and the food was not good. So.. there are many options so I probably would try something else next time. The three stars is because the staff was really friendly and efficient.

Parking a problem. I paid using the parking app before I realized I just had to tap the room key. There must be a better way to inform incoming guests of the procedure. Meanwhile I’m out some money.
