Congress Inn Plaza is a nice property. The hotel is lovely with a rich historical element. The staff was very friendly overall and ensured a pleasant stay. It was a fun atmosphere at Halloween! We had a beautiful view to enjoy and it was within walking distance of many restaurants and great shopping. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
Clean, comfortable and attractive room, great view of Michigan Ave and park beyond. Nice amenities like coffee and mini fridge. I checked out Sunday morning and I needed to store my bags. The gentleman working security was very helpful. Very pleasant overall. Will consider visiting again!

We always enjoy our time in this classic hotel in downtown Chicago! There is so much history in this facility it makes it a bit easier to overlook areas that need repairs. We know the management company is doing the best they can. Being able to see the lake and sail boats out our room is great! The staff is friendly and quickly take care of any issues that arise.

Your security guard Omar was Awesome! Took time to answer questions about the hotel and was able to tell us about some history of the place. He was awesome!
The lobby of this hotel is gorgeous but the rooms are less than average despite they tried to attempt to modernize these old vintage rooms. It's no microwave in the bedrooms, the bathroom has no racks for towels to hang on, the tiny refrigerator is just that tiny.

Rooms were ready for our large group before check in, great location for downtown.
For the price the room was very small and the TV was difficult to figure out.
